TWO BINDING PLATES. IRAN, QAJAR ART, 19th CENTURY. Rectangular shape. Lacquered and chewed paper. Painted in polychrome. Wear and chips on the edges. Seated figures, a young woman holding a terminated handle bearing the name of the imam "Ali", a young man holding a parakeet. The inside of the wooden boards, painted in red and varnish, show inventory labels from an old collection: "N°375, aas AER" and "N°376, aas a ER", accompanied by a small label marked in pen with the number 220. 22.2 x 14.2 cm (each).
