RARE KASHAN LUSTREWARE ALBARELLE. SELJUKI ART, late 12th-early 13th CENTURY. Siliceous ceramic decorated with cartouches alternating with inscribed kufic decoration and friezes of roundels. Restorations with associated retouching. Inscription: repetition of the word "AL-Mulk" (Sovereignty, Kingdom). Height: 23 cm. Diameter of opening: 7.5 cm. Provenance: Private collection, acquired before 1991. Albarelles with lustrous figures are kept at the Louvre Museum (OA5930 and OA6475).
