FER-À-CHEVAL PORTE-BONHEUR
OTTOMAN EMPIRE, BOSNIA, 19th CENTURY
Oval-shaped, narrower on one side, with slightly raised edges, in silver damascened steel. It has a central hole and four nail stamps on each side. The lower part is decorated with plant arabesques and bifid palmettes, enclosing a cartouche inscribed in Ottoman thuluth: "Yadigar-e Bosna Saray / souvenir de Sarajevo.
