Spain, Hispano-Moorish (Manises) from the 18th century Rectangular shape with molded and copper lustre decoration probably representing a Virgin surrounded by numerous buildings and flowers, from the series known as "carnations", restorations, small chips and scratches, two later grip holes. 29 x 24 cm. As described in the catalog ; The top left section broken in two parts and restored with some plaster replacements and small associated chips (triangle area approx. 19 x 10 cm. wide). Another small section to bottom right broken and restored with small associated chips (triangle and tea approx. 6,5 x 3 cm. wide). Fritting is in places to edges and mainly located to the mounded figure within her dress and nose. Firing faults within the glaze in places, especially located to the left hanside.
