Rare fragment d'un brocard de soie aux Lys de Madone Iran, Yazd, Safavid art, 17th century Silk embroidered with threads wrapped in silver and gold metal, twill weave and brocade. White, salmon and green on yellow background. Textile : 35 x 17.5 cm ; With the frame : 51 x 41 cm Former Collection Franco and Franca Bernasconi, Lugano, Switzerland. This rare fragment displays a floral motif and technique typical of seventeenth-century Yazd productions.
