KÛLAH-KHUD" HELMET WITH CAMAIL AND NOSEPIECE IRAN, QAJAR ART, 19th CENTURY Indo-Persian "Kûlah-khud" helmet in acid-etched steel, decorated with an epigraphic frieze and poly-lobed medallions featuring archers on horseback against a plant background. It is topped by a point. With its mobile nosepiece and pen-holder. Riveted chain mail partly detached, accidents and missing parts. Upper end of tip missing. Height: 45.5 cm; Diameter: 20.3 cm.
