BASE DE NARGHILÉ (KENDI) IRAN, SAFAVID ART, 17th CENTURY Siliceous ceramic, with blue and black painted decoration on a white slip base, under a colorless transparent glaze, mounted in engraved brass, imitation Chinese mark on the base and decoration of birds in a sinister landscape.
