PAGE D'UN ALBUM DE SCÈNE DE RUE IRAN, QAJAR ART, MID-19th CENTURY Watercolor on paper, depicting a butcher weighing meat to serve a customer, while two other characters are getting impatient. The scene takes place in a market with typical architecture. Size: 26.5 x 20.7 cm. Qajar albums depicting scenes of street merchants, in a style very similar to our page and with similar dimensions, are preserved at the British Museum (ID. 2006,0314,0.11 and 2006,0314,0.28).
