Base de narguileh (hookah) en bidri India, Deccan, Bidar, Mughal art, circa 1800 Of bell shape, surmounted by a slightly flared neck, with damascene decoration in silver, the body decorated with dense floral bouquets between friezes of floral scrolls and leaves. Misses in the decoration, chips. H. 17.5 cm A narguileh base of the same shape and in the same decorative register is preserved in the Victoria and Albert Museum in London (acc. 136-1852).
