Black ink on paper, in nastaʿliq script, inscribed in reserve, within cartouches illuminated in gold and polychrome, four spandrels with blue background with pendant motifs, red. Calligrapher's signature "kataba-hu Imād al-Ḥasanī ghafar la-hu"
Inscribed from a ghazal by Amir Khusraw, a 13th/14th-century Persian poet from India, mounted on a page of album margins decorated with floral scrolls in gold. Possessor's seal dated, 1291H/1874, and an old inventory label.
