COUPE EN CÉRAMIQUE « MINAÏ » IRAN late 12th-early 13th CENTURY A hemispherical bowl on a heel, made of siliceous ceramic with small fire decoration known as "minai", decorated with three seated figures surrounded by birds, two sphinxes at their feet and two fleurons on the vertical axis. Frieze with inscription on the rim. Long continuous inscription on the reverse. A MINAI POTTERY BOWL WITH SEATED FIGURES, PERSIA, LATE 12TH/EARLY 13TH CENTURY. Restored and repainted fractures, large areas covered with a varnish masking the fractures and the missing parts, visible in particular on the sides and on the reverse. The central field is very little repainted.
